Replace an ignition coil on a 2003-2005 Volvo XC90.
Tools you will need
- T30 driver
- Ratchet
- 10mm socket
Parts and supplies
- Ignition coil
Steps
- Remove the old coil
Remove the T30 bolts from its cover, disconnect its electrical connector, then remove the two 10mm bolts and lift the coil out.
- Install the new coil
Set it in place, tighten its 10mm bolt, reconnect the connector, then tighten the T30 bolts on the cover.
