Replace an ignition coil on a 1995-2002 Pontiac Sunfire.

- Ratchet
- Socket extensions
- 6mm socket
- Jack stands

Steps
- Remove the old coil
Raise the car on jack stands for access near the axle, mark each spark plug wire by position (1 mark, 2 marks, 3 marks, none) before pulling them, then remove the two 6mm bolts and pull the coil straight out and down.
- Install the new coil
Line up its prongs and set it into place, secure the bolts, then plug each wire back into its matching position using your marks as a guide.
