Replace the cabin air filter behind the glove box on a 2002-2009 Toyota 4Runner.

Steps

1. Remove the old filter

   Open the glove box, push its side tabs to remove it, pry the damper off its mounting post, then slide the filter tray out and pull the filter free.

2. Fit the new filter

   Seat it in the tray with its edges under the retaining tabs, slide the tray back in and lock its tabs, refit the damper onto its post, then close the glove box to reset the side tabs.
