Replace the cabin air filter behind the glove box on a 2002-2006 Nissan Altima.

Steps

1. Remove the glove box

   Press both hinge pins toward the center to unlock them, unhook the box, then unclip its tether.

2. Remove the old filter

   Lift the filter cover and pull the old filter out.

3. Fit the new filter

   Insert it with its directional arrow facing up, then press the cover back on.

4. Reinstall the glove box

   Reconnect the tether, slide the box onto its hinges, then press the hinge pins back into their slots.
