How to Check your Oil Level 14-19 Audi SQ5

Check the engine oil level using the MMI infotainment menu, rather than a dipstick, on a 2014-2019 Audi SQ5.

Steps

1. Read the oil level with the engine off

   Park on level ground, turn the ignition to the accessory position without starting the engine, then open the car menu in the MMI display and check the oil level indicator. A minimum-level warning generally means about a quart (1 liter) needs to be added.

2. Confirm the level after adding oil

   After adding oil, start the engine and let it idle for about 20 seconds, then go back into the MMI's car-systems menu, choose Servicing & Checks, then Oil Level, and re-check the reading before driving off.
