How to Replace Headlight and Bulb 98-04 Dodge Intrepid

Replace a headlight bulb, or the full headlight assembly, on a 1998-2004 Dodge Intrepid.
Tools you will need
- Phillips head screwdriver
- 7mm socket
- Ratchet
Parts and supplies
- Headlight bulb
- Headlight assembly
Steps
- Remove the old headlight assembly
Prop the hood, remove its two small bolts, lift the assembly up and out, then unplug the harness and bulbs, avoiding touching the glass with bare fingers.
- Install the new assembly
Plug the bulbs and harness back in, then bolt the assembly back in.
- Aim the headlights
Use a Phillips screwdriver on the two adjusting screws to set the beam, then close the hood.
