- Flat blade screwdriver
- Channel-lock pliers
- Length of pipe

Steps
- Remove the wheel
Pry off the center cap, loosen the lugs, then raise the truck and pull the wheel.
- Remove the old pads
Pry both caliper pistons back with a screwdriver, push down on the clip tab to free it, pull the retaining pins out with pliers, then remove the top wire clip and lift the pads out.
- Remove the caliper and rotor
Lift the retaining clip above the brake, loosen the caliper's rear mounting bolts (a breaker bar or pipe gives extra leverage), remove the bolts while holding the caliper, set it aside, then pull the rotor off.
- Fit the new rotor and reassemble
Slide the new rotor on, refit the caliper and torque its mounting bolts to about 100 ft-lb, replace the upper clip, reinstall the pads, then refit both retaining pins and their wire clips.
- Reinstall the wheel
Torque the lug nuts to about 120 ft-lb, then refit the center cap.
