How to Install Battery 11-17 Honda Odyssey

Install a new battery, including moving the air collector out of the way, on a 2011-2017 Honda Odyssey.

- Socket extensions
- 10mm socket
- Plastic fastener remover

Steps
- Remove the old battery
Pull the push-pin retainers and lift off the air collector, loosen the 10mm nuts on the tie-down J-hooks and remove the tie-down, disconnect the negative then positive cables with a 10mm socket, then remove the plastic battery cover and lift the battery out.
- Install the new battery
Lower it into place, refit the cover, reconnect the positive cable then the negative cable and tighten their 10mm nuts, reposition the tie-down and J-hooks and tighten their nuts, then refit the air collector and its push-pin retainers.
