How to Replace Headlight 03-04 Toyota Corolla

Replace a headlight bulb, or the full headlight assembly behind the front bumper, on a 2003-2004 Toyota Corolla.
Tools you will need
- 1/4 inch ratchet
- Socket extensions
- Flat blade screwdriver
- Phillips head screwdriver
- 10mm socket
Parts and supplies
- Headlight bulb
- Headlight assembly
Steps
- Remove the front bumper cover
Remove its retaining screws and fasteners, then starting at the sides, release its clips and lift the cover off.
- Remove the old headlight
Remove its three 10mm bolts, then unplug and remove the bulbs.
- Install the new headlight
Fit the bulbs without touching the glass and plug them in, clip the wiring back to the headlight, then tighten the three 10mm bolts to about 5-10 ft-lb.
- Refit the bumper cover
Reinstall its clips, bolts and screws.
