How to Replace Headlight 05-06 Toyota Camry

Replace a headlight bulb or the full headlight assembly on a 2005-2006 Toyota Camry.

Steps

1. Swap just the bulb if needed

   Reach into the engine bay behind the headlight, twist and pull the old bulb out, unplug it, then plug in and twist the new one into place.

2. Remove the old headlight assembly

   Remove three 10mm bolts (two around that headlight, one near the opposite side), pry loose the bumper cover's center push clip and its wheel-well clips with a screwdriver, remove a fourth 10mm bolt now exposed at the headlight's bottom outer corner, then unplug the bulbs.

3. Install the new assembly

   Plug the harness into the new headlight, clip it into place, bolt it in with the 10mm socket (careful not to touch the bulb glass), then clip the bumper cover back on and refit the bolt near the opposite headlight.
