- Hammer
- Wire brush

Steps
- Remove the wheel
Loosen the 19mm lug nuts with the truck on the ground, then raise and support it and pull the wheel.
- Remove the old pads and rotor
Push the pistons back with a screwdriver, remove the 10mm caliper bolts, swing the caliper aside and support it with a bungee cord, pry off the pads and slide out their mounting slides, then pull the rotor, striking it near the hub with a hammer if it's stuck.
- Adjust the parking brake shoes and clean everything up
Test-fit the new rotor over the parking brake shoes and adjust the self-adjuster so it just clears, then remove the rotor again and clean the shoes, rotor and pad slides with brake cleaner and a wire brush, greasing the slides afterward.
- Install the new pads
Compress the new piston with a C-clamp against an old pad, grease the pad backs, seat the new pads, refit the caliper, and torque its bolts to about 24 ft-lb.
- Reinstall the wheel
Torque the lug nuts to about 100 ft-lb in a crossing pattern.
- Test the brakes and parking brake
Pump the pedal firm, test stopping gently at 5 and 10 mph, then confirm the parking brake holds before a full road test.
