How to Replace Inner Tail Light Housing 06-11 Toyota Camry

Replace a tail light bulb or the inner tail light housing on a 2006-2011 Toyota Camry.
Tools you will need
- Ratchet
- Socket extensions
- Flat blade screwdriver
- 10mm socket
- Door panel removal tool
Parts and supplies
- Tail light bulb
- Inner tail light housing
Steps
- Swap a bulb if that's all you need
Open the trunk, pop the push clips on the trim near the light and pull the trim back, twist the socket counterclockwise to remove it, pull the old bulb off, press on the new one, then twist the socket back in.
- Remove the old housing
Pop the trim's push clips and remove the trim, disconnect the wiring harness, remove the housing's three 10mm bolts, twist out its bulb sockets, then pop the housing free.
- Install the new housing
Seat it, tighten its three 10mm bolts, twist the sockets back in, reconnect the harness, then press the trim's clips back on.
