How to Replace Wiper Blade Inserts 06-11 Toyota Camry

Replace the rubber wiper blade inserts, rather than the whole blade, on a 2006-2011 Toyota Camry.

Steps

1. Free the wiper blade from the arm

   Lift the blade's release tab, unhook it from the wiper arm, then lower the arm gently back down onto the windshield so it doesn't snap against the glass.

2. Pull out the old rubber insert

   Find the insert's wide end, pull it out along the full length of the blade, then slide the small metal stiffener strips out of it.

3. Fit the new insert

   Slide the metal stiffener strips into the new insert, feed its narrow end through the blade's arms, then push the wide end fully into its retaining tabs.

4. Reattach the wiper blade

   Hook the blade back onto the wiper arm and snap its release tab closed.
