How to Replace Spark Plugs 97-01 Toyota Camry

Replace the spark plugs on a 1997-2001 Toyota Camry.
Tools you will need
- Ratchet
- Socket extensions
- 5/8 inch spark plug socket
- Torque wrench

- Spark plugs
Steps
- Remove the ignition coil
Pull the coil and its wiring straight up and out.
- Remove the old spark plug
Loosen and remove it with a 5/8 inch spark plug socket.
- Install the new spark plug
Thread it in and torque it to about 13 ft-lb.
- Reinstall the ignition coil
Press the coil and plug wire back into place, then repeat for each remaining cylinder.
