Replace the cabin air filter behind the cowl panel on a 2008-2014 Cadillac CTS.
Tools you will need
- Ratchet
- Socket extensions
- 7mm socket
Parts and supplies
- Cabin air filter
Steps
- Remove the cowl panel
Peel back the weatherstripping, remove its single 7mm bolt, then lift the panel off.
- Remove the old filter
Press the housing cover's tab and pull the old filter out.
- Fit the new filter
Insert the new filter with its airflow arrow facing the cabin, then refit the housing cover.
- Reinstall the cowl panel
Set it back on, tighten its 7mm bolt, then press the weatherstripping back down.
