How to Replace Headlight 97-99 Toyota Camry

Replace a headlight bulb or the full headlight assembly on a 1997-1999 Toyota Camry.
Tools you will need
- Flat blade screwdriver
- Phillips head screwdriver
- 10mm socket
- Ratchet

- Headlight assembly
Steps
- Swap just the bulb
Unplug the connector, pull off the dust cover, move the retaining wire aside, then pull the old bulb out and press the new one in without touching the glass.
- Remove the full assembly
Pry out the parking light with a screwdriver and a rag to protect the paint, unplug its bulbs and set it aside, remove the headlight's two 10mm bolts, then unclip the assembly from its adjuster and lift it out.
- Install the new assembly
Clip it onto the adjuster, bolt it back in with the 10mm bolts, refit the bulbs without touching the glass, then reinstall and clip the parking light back into place.
