Replace the cabin air filter behind the glove box on a 1998-2002 Honda Accord.

Steps

1. Open up the glove box area

   Pull the fuse door off the passenger dash, remove the three screws holding the lower dash panel, then open the glove box, pop off its small screw covers, remove its four screws, disconnect the courtesy light, and lower the glove box out of the way.

2. Swap the filter and reassemble

   Pull the tab to release the filter door, slide the old filter out, fit the new one with its airflow arrows toward the driver's side, close the door, then reverse the removal steps to refit the glove box, dash panel and fuse door.
