How to Replace Cabin Air Filter 98-02 Oldsmobile Intrigue

Replace the cabin air filter behind the hood cowl on a 1998-2002 Oldsmobile Intrigue.

Steps

1. Open up the cowl

   Pull off the hood cowl gasket, free the washer fluid tube from its clips, remove the cowl's rubber plug(s) with a screwdriver, then pull the cowl aside.

2. Remove the old filter

   Pull the filter panel up and out, then pull the old filter free.

3. Fit the new filter

   Push the new filter in with its black tabs facing up, then refit and clip the filter panel.

4. Reinstall the cowl

   Push the cowl back down, refit its rubber plug, snap the washer fluid tube back into its clips, then press the cowl gasket on.
