Replace a headlight bulb or the full headlight and parking light assemblies on a 2000-2004 Toyota Tundra.
Tools you will need
- Flat blade screwdriver
- Phillips head screwdriver
- Ratchet
- 10mm socket
Parts and supplies

- Headlight assembly

Steps
- Swap just a bulb if needed
Pop the hood, reach behind the headlight, unplug the bulb, pull its rubber boot aside and unclip its wire retainer to free it.
- Remove the old assemblies
Pop the push clip at the headlight's top corner with a Phillips and flat screwdriver, pull out the parking light and disconnect it, transfer its bulb to the new parking light, then unbolt the headlight's single 10mm bolt and three 10mm nuts, unplug its harness, and transfer its bulbs to the new headlight.
- Install the new assemblies
Plug the harness into the new headlight and anchor it with the bolt and three nuts, then plug in the new parking light and secure it with its push clip, inserting the clip body first and pressing the center to lock it.
